Materials Management
Materials Management facilitates the ordering of medical supplies and other similar items from McKesson, a state approved vendor. In addition, Materials Management will continue to order dry ice for campus customers as well as ensure the pick up of empty gas cylinders. For any questions regarding these services, please call

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING ON-LINE ORDERING
The UCD Medical Supplies provider has changed from UCH to McKesson, a state approved vendor. This results in improved customer service and expanded one-stop product availability.
The benefits to our customers include:
- Priority customer treatment
- Direct department-vendor relationship
- Orders can be made via Web, Fax or phone
- Next day delivery for in-stock items ordered before 2 PM
- Emergency ordering process available 2 ~ 4 PM
- Backorder process available – no more “Fill or Kill”
- EZA card and/or SPO process accepted
- “Will-call” order pick-up available at the McKesson Warehouse on Peoria, just south of I-70
- Wider range of products available from McKesson
- Vendor will adjust inventory to meet University needs

Compressed Gas Cylinder Returns
If you have empty cylinders that need to be returned, please use the on-line return request form to request a pick up. Cylinder pick up will be scheduled into the regular delivery of new product. Thank you for your assistance.
