Faculty Jobs on Campus
Faculty Positions
We have a wide variety of full and part-time faculty positions. The positions are either tenure-track or non-tenure
track as outlined below. Faculty positions at the Health Sciences Center schools (Medicine, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Dentistry) are typically 12-month appointments that include clinical responsibilities or teaching. Positions at the schools located on the Downtown Campus are either full time 9-month appointments or part-time teaching assignments. Please refer to the Board of Regents policy 5-L on faculty titles for specific definitions.
Tenure Track Positions
These positions are typically full time and require terminal degrees. These positions require expertise in research, teaching, and service. Specific academic credentials and experience will be listed in the individual job announcement.
Non-tenure Track Positions
These positions may be full or part-time and typically require terminal degrees. The most common titles within this section include Instructor (full or part-time) and Lecturer (part-time).
Please refer to the UC Denver home page for the particular school, college, or discipline for which you are interested for information regarding school/college-specific faculty requirements and expectations.
