Parking and Transportation Permit Parking

Staff/Student/Faculty Parking

Staff or faculty employed at UC Denver, University Physicians Inc., University Hospital and students are given preference for parking on campus.  Only students enrolled in UC Denver programs are permitted to park on campus.  Parking is assigned by primary campus work location. A $10 activation fee is charged for all new accounts. New accounts are pro-rated on a half month basis, depending on when the account is activated.

Parking permits and entry cards are not transferable between individuals! Cards cannot be loaned, leased, borrowed or in any way transferred from one person to another. Such transfers may result in the individual's (or carpool's) parking privileges being revoked.
Permitted drivers are responsible to display their permit per the instructions of the Parking and Transportation Services Division at all times. If an individual "forgets" his/her permit either with his/her registered vehicle or with a substitute vehicle, or fails to properly display it, the vehicle may be ticketed.
All UCD faculty, staff, students and tenants who wish to park in the permit-only parking lots and garages, must participate in the UCD Parking Program.
Staff, students or faculty who do not participate in the parking program may park in visitor designated areas and pay the daily parking rate.
9th and Colorado staff may park in any Anschutz Medical Campus permit parking facility by displaying their 9th and Colorado permit or entry card on the dashboard or from a hanger on the rearview mirror.  Anschutz Medical Campus staff paying the 9th and Colorado rate, with the appropriate sticker on their Anschutz Medical Campus permit may park in P Lot or Albion Lot at 9th and Colorado. Specifically excluded are J Lot, C Lot, H Lot, B Lot, K Lot, and both parking structures.
If you are an A Lot permit holder and you find that both the parking structure and the overflow lot, located West of the A Lot Parking Structure, are full, you may also park in K Lot, P Lot, Ash Lot, and Albion Lot, if space is available. Display your entry card as you would if parking on one of the other surface lot on the 9th Avenue campus that does not have gates, or at Anschutz Medical Campus. The Parking Rules brochure has a map that shows all the lots.
